Greetings everyone and welcome to the Atlantis Rising blog, brought to you by Alexander Nemo. My blog is devoted to information about psychic, magickal and natural living topics such as: Hermetics, Aromatherapy, Wiccan, Ritual magick, Meditation, Yoga, Tarot, Golden Dawn, Herbal healing, Essential Oils, Reflexology and Astrology along with all types of metaphysical and Natural living fun stuff.
Here I sit with my finger on the mouse clicker. The date is November 23, 2020 and I am about to publish the first edition of the Atlantis Rising blog. Am I nervous? Nawwww. I would say the word terrified covers the emotion a little better. After all I am a click, a microsecond away from putting another part of my dream into motion. I have a real goal in mind to serve our community in very practical ways IF, I can figure out wordpress and all the associated goodies. If you are reading these words I can only hope that you are willing to take the journey with me. As you can see it is starting out as a pretty basic undertaking but, if things go well, there will be good changes.
O-kay, this is hit, I’m hitting the button right now. That means that this moment is the beginning of a journey, may it be a long and prosperous one for all involved.
Blessed Be and Namaste, Allow me to introduce myself my name is Alexander Nemo. Thank you for reading my blog; it’s all about real magick; the metaphysical, psychic, spiritual stuff.
I thought it only proper to introduce myself and supply some actual reasons for you to think that the investment put into reading my words will be worth your time. The question is; who is Alexander Nemo? and does anybody really care?
The paragraphs below represent the best I can do to describe myself in a very small space. The space is small because I know that people, in general, have short attention spans. Hopefully, your attention span expands as you find value in the words written.
Currently, my physical body is in its mid-50’s, however my mind and heart are of a much younger person. In this current life, I have been a practicing psychic/ spiritual person for the past 35 years. Only the gods know how many years of practice I have had in previous lives. The key word here is practicing. For all the time I’ve had practicing I still don’t think I have it down pat, the goal is to become better at what I do. I am sure no matter what skills I develop I will always feel there will be tons of room for improvement.
I authored a book titled, Magick, Beginning the Path. The title sort of sums up what the book is about. It is a step-by-step guide for people who desire to tread magickal mystical paths. That book was written because I feel most people have an inadequate concept of what the path is. In truth it’s not so much what the path is but more about where or what they think the goal is. I feel that people need to have a destination in mind in order structure their mystical journey.
My book is my attempt to create—or bring to light—a more standardized base line of magickal concepts and tools. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think my ‘brand’ or ‘system of practice’ of magick is better or more correct than anyone else’s but, I do hope my words will mentally stimulate all practitioners to re-explore what they think they know. Everyone needs to consider what their goals are and how to go about achieving them. Even though these questions go way beyond the scope of my book and this blog, you still can get the idea of what I ultimately want to provide to our community in bite-sized bits.
I have been doing psychic readings for people for the past 40 years. I’ve tried doing readings for goats and other animals but they just don’t seem to care about what I say. Plus, I had a hell of a time trying to verify the accuracy of my perceptions. With this said you have probably noticed I tend to be a little bit of a smart ass. This propensity comes across when I do psychic readings too; it is always in good fun though. When someone asks a really, REALLY frivolous question I hand them a toy that I think every psychic should have; a Crazy Eight ball. It‘s a great tool for bringing a sense of perspective and relevance to a question and to what the purpose of a psychic reading is for.
I view the process of doing readings as a way to try moving a client’s awareness toward focusing on themselves; as a way of helping them understand how their choices create the path they are walking, is of the utmost importance to me. When I look at my own life, I can now see tons of stuff that I could have done differently. The question would always remain, “Would the accomplishments be the same?” As always, my 20/20 psychic hindsight is flawless. I don’t need to practice hindsight because I can always clearly see myself being an ass when I look behind. It is amazing how that works like that.
Lastly, my personal life has been a typical magician’s journey. It has been through the extremes from being fantastic to utter darkness and despair. At the very least, I will be able to use some of my adventures for some good teaching material. The bottom line is that there is no escaping Karma. When it demands to be balanced and your Higher Self says “NOW”, it will be done. Sometimes I just hate being a pawn to my higher self; it thinks it knows everything. Jeez! Ah, the dream of being a fully enlightened being once again.
To finish this first installment I would like to offer what I have labeled as the Theurgist Theorems. I think this is great way to formally introduce you to my way of magickal thinking. You will find them below in the next paragraph. I am offering these theorems from book book as food for thought. Please feel free to contact me and let me know what you think. Theurgist Theorems
- A Theurgist understands that: each person carries all the secrets of the universe within themselves. It is our internal discord that causes us to not remember the mysteries. Harmony must be returned. This will allow us to regain enlightenment.
- A Theurgist aspires to create a path that will allow them to regain their true selves!
- A Theurgist actively seeks memories of past lives. It is through these tastes of immortality that freedom will be found.
- A Theurgist understands; there are many different words that describe different levels of consciousness and awareness. Many people use these words as destinations while on their spiritual journey. Destinations are illusions. We aspire to understand. We reach upwards towards the stars.
- The path of the Theurgist is always one of re-evaluation. Our personal philosophy and our perception of reality are constantly under scrutiny by the individual. Self-observation serves to ensure that there is always fertile ground for the seeds of higher insight to take root in.
- A Theurgist knows: To achieve awareness of our divine aspect, we must embrace our past actions from all of our incarnations. By accepting the healing process that will balance our karma, we will become more content with our lives. Contentment blooms from knowing we are moving towards balance, harmony, love, and wisdom. This is our divine heritage.
- A Theurgist needs no proof of Gods and Goddesses. The manifestation of the divine principle is self-evident throughout all levels of creation.
- A Theurgist does not attempt to convert people to their way of thinking. This type of action is a display of insecurity and shallowness in their knowledge. Water seeks its own level.
- A Theurgist’s path moves them towards manifestation of their divine virtues. The blending of the Divine and the mundane is the beginning of apotheosis.
- A Theurgist knows; there are no limits to a person’s potential accomplishments while traveling a path of enlightenment. We also realize that the path to freedom passes through multiple incarnations.
- A Theurgist knows; everyone is both student and teacher. We can all move towards the light if we so choose.
- A Theurgist knows; exercise of free will and the ability to make choices are Divine Gifts.
- A Theurgist knows that; we all participate in the ongoing process of creation.
- A Theurgist is not limited to, or confined by, any one set of: beliefs, traditions, practices, or symbolism.
- A Theurgist always tries to maintain the “Wonder of a child.” We are always open to exploring new perspectives and possibilities which will foster deeper understanding and spiritual growth.
- A Theurgist understands that; personal definition of reality will change with every new insight they acquire and integrate into their Being.
- A theurgist is free to adopt any: Practices, symbolism, mythology, or tradition from any spiritual system they feel will facilitate the progress of their spiritual awakening.
- A Theurgist will provide tools for “self-discovery” to any person who is sincerely interested. These tools will allow a person to uncover truths we know are self-evident and universal.
- A Theurgist will never spread: Fear, condemnation, judgment, or prejudices against any other spiritual system. Any person, organization, religion, or government that does such things, is without doubt, the very evil they are preaching against.
- A Theurgist understands; each being chooses to inhabit a planetary body that is of a polarity that will provide the most efficient experience for their chosen path. This body, whether male or female, is the result of choice. The Being within the body, will express itself as they see fit, to support their journey. All of us are created equal. Each of us is an immortal star of Divine substance and limitless in forms of expression.
- A Theurgist understands: Normal waking consciousness can metamorphose into a higher state of wakefulness when proper stimulus is provided. Humans can transcend the limits of normal mundane perception.
- A Theurgist knows; there are many paths that support the journey towards enlightenment. The best path for a person is the one that will help them to happily participate in the universal play.
- A Theurgist knows; the use of eclectic symbolism, in a personal path, is a reflection of the multiple experiences of that being. Accessing the depths of one’s own consciousness through symbolism can expedite the rediscovery of your true nature.
- A Theurgist understands that; our own core philosophies and premises are merely guidelines that help us maintain a centered perspective. This stability helps us to reach higher. Truth shall set us free. Everything changes with gnosis.
- A Theurgist recognizes the folly in the claim made by any spiritual system that says “they are the only way to salvation and enlightenment.” Many paths lead upwards to the mountaintop.
- A Theurgist creates their core beliefs based on: Experience, research, observation, experimentation and verification. This process will reveal all inherent truths of creation. Without this process, our beliefs would be no more than empty words.
- A Theurgist strives for spiritual integration and honesty.
- A Theurgist understands that: We are the sum of all of our experiences.
- We breathe what we know.
